artist researchWe had to do a research project on an artist, I chose Pablo Picasso. I'm not really sure why I chose him, but it's probably because I thought his style was a bit strange. For our project we collected information similar to their education and what did they did in their free time. Picasso was actually a terrible student. Despite being proficient in the arts among his much older peers, he had a lot of trouble taking direction from instructors. When he moved to Spain he would many a time stroll through the streets rather than attend lessons.Picasso lived through some major events; he was alive during both world wars. He was also alive during the Rose period, the Blue period, and he used surrealism in multiple pieces. I'm not really the biggest fan of Picasso, but his style is just so different from what I'm used to seeing. It immediately captures my attention. Also, it's nice seeing something so different so your days don't become boring.
